Some important things to remember are your personal style, skin tone and base color in your hair. While it’s advised to pair cool toned hair with cool toned skin and visa versa, I say rules were meant to be broken!
Don’t just outwardly opt for your favorite color, pick something that will compliment a color that most frequents your wardrobe! For me, that’s black and blue. Therefore I’d go with a bold, red, orange, copper, etc. for my hair. With black, I feel like colors should be bold. With brown clothes, I go for more pastel and softer colors.
And why just pick one? Go for more! Fade from one color to the next, or do multiple different pieces in different colors. I’m going to post a few idea’s for you based on the pictures you have on your tumblr. Be sure to send me a picture when you’ve done it!
